Smart Agrothon aims to bring together the fresh perspectives, disruptive approaches, cutting-edge research and knowledge of smart-thinking people from all over India who are interested in tackling some of the biggest challenges related to Agriculture.
This event will catalyze the technology based solutions that can help the farmers to overcome their difficulties and transform farm returns. Participants shall develop ideas and build prototypes to solve key challenges faced by the farmers during crop production.

The hackathon aims to encourage and find innovative solutions leveraging artificial intelligence to conserve freshwater usage, and to address water scarcity problems in India.

Leveraging AI for agriculture “underlines the use of technology in agriculture to improve farmers access to markets, inputs, data, advisory, credit and insurance," the organisers said in an official release.
